Biography:

Michelle K. Breckenridge was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in January of 2001 after receiving a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2000. She has been practicing in the area of domestic relations since 2001 and has over twenty-years of experience. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. Attorney Breckenridge has practiced before the Probate and Family, District and Superior Courts in Massachusetts, though now concentrates her practice before the Probate and Family Courts. She is fluent in French. 

Attorney Breckenridge concentrates her practice in the areas of Family Law and Domestic Relations. She has experience handling complex caseloads from commencement to settlement or trial in all areas of Family Law including complex divorce, asset and support disputes and child custody. She has extensive experience in cases with high-net-worth individuals and has the requisite skills to perform the financial analysis and presentation to the courts regarding assets and income in asset division and support matters, including the necessary analysis in complicated cases involving self-employed individuals running their own businesses. Attorney Breckenridge has fashioned many parenting plans to meet the needs of her clients and their children, either through settlement negotiation or through advocacy in front of the courts.
